"I Remember..." Project
In the "I Remember..." Project, we are collecting audio recordings of individuals telling their own stories of significant memories of life in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN). These memories may be about specific people, events, or experiences of God's work. However, each recording should be focused on one recounting. These are not interviews, but self-guided accountings. However, it is acceptable to record a personal conversation that is directed to the same purpose.
There are not strict guidelines on the length of each recording, but we suggest from 3 to 10 minutes. If there is a submitted recording significantly longer, the Dixon Pentecostal Research Center staff will determine how best to use the recording. We do not plan to edit the recordings.
Recordings will be placed in the Dixon Pentecostal Research Center holdings, which is the official archives of the Church of God (Cleveland, TN). They may be made available to researchers who visit the Center. They may be made accessible online. There is a consent and assignment of ownership form to be submitted with the recording.
