Striving to Fulfill Our Mission—Training

Our archivist, Gene Mills, recently completed a training program with the Society of American Archivists. In December 2022, Gene completed the coursework for a Certificate in Arrangement & Description.

We are constantly striving at the Dixon Pentecostal Research Center to fulfill our mission as stewards of the Pentecostal and Church of God stories with excellence and care. We preserve various types of objects, records, and documents in the best way possible, according to industry standards. We then make those items available for our various public constituents so that the story can be shared. This type of training helps us to accomplish those goals in a better way.
